I applied online. I interviewed at National Library of Scotland (Glasgow, Scotland)
Interview
After completing an online application I received an email saying that I would move to the interview stage where I was asked to select a time slot. It was a relatively simple interview at the Kelvin Hall with two supervisors discussing your experience for around 40 minutes. Questions were sent in advance via email. Average difficulty, interviewers offered water.

I applied online. I interviewed at National Library of Scotland (Edinburgh, Scotland) in May 2022
Interview
I received an email saying I had been invited to do a verbal presentation on a certain scenario. Using my knowledge and experience I had to prepare a ten minute presentation. Nothing else was on the email and I practiced this presentation for a whole week. They told me at the start of the interview that the presentation was just an ice breaker and would be doing a hour long interview on competency which I wasn’t prepared for. To say I was disappointed is an understatement.
