In a world where AI filters and ATS systems are the blocker for most job openings. It is very refreshing to see that National Restaurant Association went old school and had an in-person interview. This solves the issue of applicants cheating online or being a fake person. It was also amazing that they did not ask a question / riddle where I had to answer correctly in a time crunch. It was just having a real conversation and understanding how I problem solve and think.
