I was made aware of the opening through a mutual contact within the company. I personally e-mailed the supervisor of the job with a CV and resume, to which he responded with a job description, details, and a request for an interview. Went on-site at the manufacturing facilities for the interview, and interviewed in the office of the supervisor. After a bit of social interaction, we got into the interview questions, mostly pertaining to relevant skills and problem solving methods associated with the design of jigs and fixtures. That was followed with a more complete job description and benefits/salary. Took about 20 minutes, after which we both left the office. About a week later I was contacted by e-mail with the job offer, with a two-week time frame to respond. After responding, further contact was made with HR in order to firm up the contract and working terms. Began working about two months after that.
