The whole process took about 3 weeks. I had applied for the SDR Analyst position at TripActions.
The initial conversation was very friendly and we spoke about different avenues to apply my experience in the organization. The recruiter was very friendly.
I was moved into the next steps speaking to 4-5 other folks on the team. I had then moved to the final round speaking to a colleague and ultimately an executive of the team.
Once I had completed all of my interview rounds, I did not receive an update. I was provided good feedback throughout the process and some confidence in pushing to an offer. When I reached out to the recruiter, they had said that they no longer wanted to proceed with my candidacy and they wanted someone more technical for the role.
To be clear - everything and everyone was very respectable and I had genuinely good conversations with every person. I think the only piece of feedback to share is from a recruiting standpoint to set better expectations for the type of candidate required.
