I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Nettium (Kuala Lumpur) in Feb 2016
Interview
Applied through an online jobs portal, which was advertised by a recruiting firm. But later Nettium advertised other job positions on the same portal. I chose to be interviewed for this position instead, which was what the recruiting firm suggested. Eventually I received a call from Nettium's HR who stated that I've had a recent phone interview, and would like to take it to the next phase for a 1:1 in person interview. I honestly said that no such phone interview occurred, but the HR personnel refused to deny.
Anyhow, I decided to attend for this 1:1, which was held in a couple of days after receiving the invitation. Upon arriving at the venue, I was required to sit for a personality test (which I was later told that the result isn't revealed to candidates). Soon I was interviewed by a person much younger than I am (a Gen-Y), whom I felt has an unprofessional approach in handling interviews. She didn't ask me questions pertaining to the position's requirements. In the end, I felt it was a big waste of time, money, and effort to bringing myself there. Why? The interviewer didn't even bother to jot down any notes or pointers. She must've a mega-brain in remembering the entire conversation throughout the 1:1 interview.
I guess that Gen-Xs aren't welcomed into Nettium, since it's mainly dominated by Gen-Ys. Best to stay clear from such companies.
