      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at New Acquisitions (Atlanta, GA) in Oct 2016

      Interview

Got called back the same day I applied. The HR rep asked me how I feel about growing in the company, if I was lookin full time or part-time, and said we are wrapping up interview this week, and gave me an interview the next day (as I look through the rest of these comments, looks like everyone gets the same shpiel) At the interview I had to fill out a form with basic info, and wait to be called in the waiting room. When I got called they explained this interview was to put a name to a face, and explained that everyone starts out basically doing retail at a Costco or Home Depot and then gets promoted within. That's great for those who applied for an entry level sales position, but this is not what I applied for. I asked the interviewer where on the pyramid is the job I applied for. He didn't even know what job I had applied for! I simply and respectfully told them I was not interested.

Dear Interviewee, Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback on our interviewing process! We’re sorry to hear that your experience with us wasn’t what you were expecting. I know you mentioned that you applied to our Junior Marketing Manager position which we have on LinkedIn. I apologize if this was overlooked, but all of our positions online do state that they are entry level with room for advancement as growth from within is something that we really pride ourselves on (which is why we always bring growth up in the preliminary phone screening as well). When we do speak to candidates on the phone, we do ask everyone what they're looking for in their next position so we can make sure that we have a good fit before we even bring anyone in for an interview. Again, we apologize for the confusion as it seems you were looking for something that starts at an upper level management role. On top of that, we apologize if you felt you did not have a personal conversation with our HR team. Best of luck to you in finding exactly what you’re looking for! If you have any other questions about the position you applied to, please refer to LinkedIn or email us at hr@newacquisitionsinc.com.
