      Senior Analyst Interview

      Application

      I interviewed at New Balance

      Interview

After applying I was contacted by a recruiter for a first round interview. The day after the interview, I was asked to do a second interview with the woman who would be my boss. The conversation went great, I was able to speak freely and felt really confident with all of my answers to her questions. About a month went by with no response until I finally emailed the interviewer and the recruiter asking for an update on the process and the next day I got a generic email from the recruiter telling me I would not be moving onto the next round. I was extremely disappointed with the communication and recruiting process as a whole. When did it become the norm to ghost candidates who worked their butts off to prepare for multiple interviews?

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at New Balance in Mar 2025

      Interview

I submitted my application online and was contacted by a recruiter the very next day for a phone screen. I went on to have a total of 6 interviews with different members of the team, two virtually and four in person at the headquarters in Brighton. There were no technical components to the process, all behavioral interviews that were very easy. In each conversation I was told my experience matched with exactly what they were looking for and everyone was generally very friendly. After my final interview, they completely ghosted me. No acceptance or rejection, radio silence. I'm disappointed that a company I've supported for many years turned out to be this unprofessional.
