After submitting an application, I received a follow-up email asking me to complete some financial problems using Excel. Also included in the email were some basic files about the company.

Question 1
One of the Excel problems was to perform a DCF analysis.
The interview was mix of behavior and finance questions, such as why New Constructs and describe your previous experience. Overall a pretty smooth process. Also, there is Excel and finance exercises including DCF modeling.
I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at New Constructs (Brentwood, TN) in Feb 2018

Excel Finance screen, phone interviews, on-site interview. If you're interested in finance and equity research it should be relatively straightforward. The company is very small so keep in mind if it is the right fit. Overall, they're doing some interesting things in financial research.
