I applied online. I interviewed at New Jersey Urology in Nov 2020
Interview
I interviewed at NJ Urology in November 2020 and received an offer in 3 weeks.
First round was with the HR where she called randomly and said you have been selected to interview. Later I was told that this isn't a position for a financial analyst but a "Junior Financial Analyst" and they had a slight of a misrepresentation.
My two interviews with the Hiring Managers were good. They were nice and friendly and had a good conversation about the work and company with them.
However, when interviewing they mentioned this isn't as much of a Financial Analyst position as is a Data reporting position. I was taken aback by the several misleading statements in the job description online.
After finishing both the interviews I got a call from the HR saying I have received the job. I told her that the position stated online versus what I interviewed for are very different. I requested if they could revise my package according to the industry and market standards for that particular role. Also asked her a few questions about the process for immigrants. She said she would get back after talking to another HR in a few days. She did not contact me for a week. I contacted her asking if there was any update and she called saying we are canceling the job offer. When asked her why, she said they misjudged the employee count end of year and aren't looking to hire.
Extreme waste of time and energy. Wasted 3-3.5 crucial weeks just before my end semester preparing for interviews.
P.S - The interview process isn't very formal. The HR never schedule a call. Called at her own time and discretion.
Very easy and accommodating with my schedule did not make me feel nervous but was very thorough, directions to the place are a little difficult at first bc the address if different than the one listed but otherwise it was great
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at New Jersey Urology (Newark, NJ) in July 2020
Interview
It was a phone interview. My manager was very laid back and conversational. She explained the role to me, but most of the time was spent talking about life. The interview must have taken 20 minutes and it was actually enjoyable.
