The interview process was seamless and concise. It was a great experience from start to finish, and the offer rolled out within 2 days. I enjoyed conversations with everyone I interviewed with,
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Experience within the industry was the main topic of conversation.
I applied through other source. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Newburg CPA (Waltham, MA) in Oct 2017
Interview
On my first interview visit, I first with the Office/HR Manager. She asked general questions about me and was very nice. Next I met with each of the two partners. The interviews went for about 1/2 hr each.
After that I was invited in for a second visit. I met with each of the 5 Managers individually one after the other. All were friendly and professional

Question 1
Do think it will be a challenge for you transitioning from a Big4 firm to a smaller sized firm?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Newburg CPA (Waltham, MA)
Interview
Applied online. Started off with an office manager who was professional and informative. Then next was a tax staff person. This woman had the worst interviewing skills I'd ever seen. She seemed to have an attitude like she did not want to be there. She barely asked any questions and there were long periods of awkward silence. Did not give me a business card and just seemed completely unprofessional. On top of it all, this company never sent me any kind of notice that I did not get the position and ignored my emails. Rude people = bad culture.

Question 1
No difficult questions...just typical "tell me about yourself" sort of thing.
I'm not certain who that would have been but the Interview process has changed. Staff level are not trained to conduct an interview and therefore do not. Managers and above handle all hiring decisions including interviews. Thank you.
