I received a text that “someone” wanted to speak to me about the resume I submitted. For HR to make the initial contact via text from unknown # was not what I expected. However, important to mention that this role has been posted over and over again for at least 12 months (red flag). I found the interviewer to be cold and not genuinely interested in me. In fact , overall, the attitude of the interviewer was more “put out” and made me feel she was inconvenienced by me (yet she is the one who reached out to me). The result of the phone interview was 15 minutes of basic questions showing me that the interviewer never bothered to read my resume and more so seemed to want to know my strategies for recruiting at very specific places. Can’t say for sure but this person appeared to want to learn from me what to do. The end of the call she said she would review my resume and get back to me if there was interest. After recruiting for 20 years myself I can tell you that you should have done that before “texting” me to start with. Waste of time for us both...Then I was promptly ghosted and haven’t heard anything back. Last time I apply to a job that’s been posted for so long without reviewing Glassdoor. Can see from other reviews that HR needs serious overhaul.
