I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Newport Restoration Foundation in Mar 2022
Interview
It was a very quick process of half an hour of interview questions from three other employees. They were doing all their interviews for this position on the same day in a row. They took turns asking questions, but only left one minute at the end for me to ask my questions. I was only able to ask one question that they were not able to answer because they did not know enough about the job I was interviewing for. I was able to email them later with the rest of my questions, and they answered in a timely manner but I was still left with much uncertainty.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They told me they were asking every interviewee the same set of questions. Their questions were extremely specific to the position and the company.
How would you communicate with other companies in the area to market our museum?
How would you handle negative publicity, specifically related to Doris Duke?
Other questions about my experience and how I could benefit their museum. They wanted to see how familiar I was with their museum and properties.

Interview
The interview process was fair and equitable. All candidates were asked the same base questions, with room at the end for individual questions. Expectations for the interview process were clearly expressed. Communications with HR were timely and relevant.
