      Engineering Interview

      31 May 2009
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at NiCE in Mar 2009

      Interview

The first interview was one-on-one with a recruiter. She went over my skills and past history to verify my qualifications for the position. Next, a phone interview was arranged with one of the managers at Nice Systems. I can only assume this was more of a personality test since most of the questions dealt with "how would I handle a disagreement with a co-worker who was very upset with a client or with me," "how did I deal with stress," and other such questions. There were some questions on skills and knowledge, but like I said, I don't think that is what this interview was about. This took me to a third interview during which I attended a one-hour (approximately) technical class (on-site) which was give to a group of about eight of us prospects an introduction to the Nice product line. After the class, an essay test was given that only three of the eight passed. It was evident to me and others that one needed a fairly good working knowledge of the product to pass the test with the required score of 85%. This was the end of the third part of the interview process for me since I failed to achieve a passing score. If you make it to the class and testing stage I would suggest you pay very close attention and ask lots of questions since the information covered is not available from their website for consumption before hand.

      Question 1

The most unexpected question concerned co-workers having anger issues and how would I deal with them.
