Since I applied in COVID 19 pandemic, intial screening was done by a small coding challenge which was an online test. Then got a call from HR for scheduling the interview. 2nd round was online video interview. The interviewer explained about the company and product first and then the coding test started. I was asked to write couple of programs. One I remember is printing the stars according to the rating out of 5. If rating is 4.2 then 4 stars, if 4.5/4.74 then 4 full stars and 1 half star, if >=4.75 then 5 full stars. Though my program is not a feasible solution, he looked at my skills in coding. I got selected for next round which was with CTO. All this happened in July. But my interview with CTO was scheduled way after in October. In this round, I was asked about Java concepts and my project and responsibilities for it. Since I have worked on talend, i was asked couple of questions about it. Later I was given a basic database design of student, courses and semesters and was asked to write some queries like students in particular course. I was asked to write query to get students who opted for all the courses. For this I made a little change in database structure and wrote the query. I was also asked to write a Java program.
