Hello! I'm sorry that you had a poor experience interviewing with Ninja Van, and that you felt that our HR interview was meaningless for CS graduates.
At Ninja Van, Culture and Soft skills are a priority when it comes to hiring, and the HR interview is key to assess it. We audit all our interviewers to ensure that all candidates get the chance they deserve. Even so, nearly 70% of candidates fail our HR interview due to poor communication skills or poor culture fit.
We believe that caring about how someone works is just as important as what they can do, which is how we maintain a collaborative and positive culture in our teams. I hope that explains why we don't treat our HR interviews as meaningless here at Ninja Van.
