This was for a contract position and the process felt a bit disorganized as there were scheduling issues with the recruiter and manager. The manager asked many technical questions on SQL, data warehousing, and Tableau experience and focused on Tableau versions. She asked, "What Tableau version do you use?", "What's the difference between this version and that version?" and fixated a lot on this. I got the feeling she was reading a list of questions given to her by an analyst. I withdrew myself from the process as I wasn't interested in working with her and the hourly rate, $35, was very poor, especially for what they were asking for (data warehousing, database management).
