It was a phone interview. They asked me if you ping google what will happen in each layer of OSI model. They asked me to write logic on how will you separate each IP from a given string. Overall experience was good.

started off with basic quesitions about resume then asked me about a bit of python, javascript and then finished off with techincal questions about computer networking. specfically about DNS, and the Network stack.

This was for a role that has both Networking and Python Programming/Automation. - Student Co-op.
They grilled me on Networking to the core(mostly theory - Routing protocols part) as I had explained them I had worked for networking organizations before and hold a Masters in Networking degree.
The python interview was subsequently easier basic python test on string manipulation, lists and test basic understanding of classes. The intro round however began with a searching algorithm question.

Interview
Very straightforward questions. Basic questions of SDLC, system design, QA processes, metrics etc. Given several what if situations and also few simple questions to check for smartness - few puzzles. Very good interviewing experience overall
