The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Noom (Atlanta, GA) in May 2020
Interview
Four part interview process; made it to the third part which was a mock coaching session on google docs. It was awful - as if the interviewer was out to not advance me from the beginning. I have 7 years of experience working with non-compliant clients and patients and helping people set and attain health goals. The interviewer I worked with shut down every single comment, suggestion, and bit of encouragement that I offered, using the motivational interviewing that they said they were looking for. I felt like I was jerked around for weeks for a "wait listed" position, only to be dropped at the end without even an ounce of feedback. Miserable experience.

Question 1
My "mock" client wanted to lose 25 pounds but did not want to change a single thing about her life or her habits and said that her food choices were out of her control.
After submitting a self-recorded video introducing yourself, if accepted, you are invited to a video interview. The conversation explores your background, education and experience, as well as goals for your career. It was relaxed but professional.

Question 1
Why do you feel you'd be a good fit for this position?
A few rounds of interviews with leadership and then presented with a case study for a theoretical user of Noom of how to assist them through menu selection at a popular restaurant chain.
Interview process included a mock interview (digital) and a virtual 1:1 meeting with a Heath Coach. My 1:1 meeting ended up being a phone call rather than a virtual meeting.
