Screening, questions were nice but AI resulting ruins all efforts. I had way more experience than it was required by the job description, but rejected on screening phase. I’m considering that it is a result of AI deciding.

I got an email asking me to do a test. Nobody even reached out for an initial interview. I did the test regardless because I need a job. A few days later I got a rejection email citing some of the things wrong with my submission. It’s a joke. How can a candidate possibly know how you prefer to write as a company without working for you?! Not to mention the fact that all you’ve had to do was send a couple of emails and an AI generated feedback email…it’s exploiting candidates in this horrible job market. We deserve a fricking conversation first at least! We are not performing monkeys with all the time in the world to write an 800 word blog article for you plus analyse another one. Remember that you also need to sell your company to your candidates. You need to give a good impression…and not even having a quick call with a potential candidate is poor recruitment behaviour in my opinion.

Interview
The entire interview experience was very positive. I met with three members of the team, and they created a welcoming and professional atmosphere throughout the conversation. Their communication style was smooth, calm, and engaging, and the questions felt thoughtful and well-structured. Overall, it was a great experience.
