Two day interview. First a panel with a group of candidates and superintendents from various locations. Then the next day it's two on one interview (HR and Superintendent and yourself).

Phone screen then an in person panel interview. Panelists seemed to try to interpret everything you said in the most negative light. I asked if I could have their cards so I could send them thank you notes and was told "We don't do that".

Interview
The process starts out with a pretty extensive online application. After that I was scheduled for a telephone interview with an HR representative. She asked me about my resume and a few traditional behavioral questions. I am now scheduled to go to an in-person interview where I will meet with senior leaders from the Transportation Department and also an HR rep.
