I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at North Carolina Farm Bureau Insurance (Durham, NC) in Apr 2011
Interview
Very long interview that lasted several hours. Wunderlink test is involved and taken very seriously. A lot of questions about customer service and future plans in general, focus on continuing education in company, They brought in the 2 people that I would be working with so that I could ask questions and that my coworkers could get an idea about me as well.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at North Carolina Farm Bureau Insurance (Raleigh, NC) in Dec 2012
Interview
Three interviews- first a test to see aptitude for quick thinking, followed by the interview with the District Claims Manager for the office where you would be working. If you pass that, then two more interviews at the home office- one with the regional claims supervisor and then finally with the claims supervisor for the entire company.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The head claims supervisor asked me in detail if I owned a CAR and even wrote down what type of car it was- year, make and model- and seemed very concerned whether I could commute 30 minutes to work. I thought that was bizarre considering this was NOT an entry level position, I'm not a young person and the interview was in Raleigh where a 30 min plus commute is the standard!
