While completing the application, I was prompted to submit a video screening. I felt conflicted as I had never encountered this before and didn’t know if I wanted the job that much. The video process was very awkward and felt invasive, I did not like that I could not record a second time. A week later I was sent questions and in preparation for the interview and wound up declining as I don’t want to work for any employer that would put me on the spot like that. I felt subhuman and that they wanted me to record myself having an interview during an application left a very bad taste in my mouth.
