Once I applied, it was about a month before I received a call. HR-for the most part-are very young and a bit socially awkward in terms of being able to connect with candidates. There was a pre-screen onsite interview with an HR person who essentially asked me if my resume was accurate, followed by the actual interview. The hiring manager was lovely but does not possess the professional clinical training to be interviewing for the role, nor supervising it. It was interesting that a big emphasis is placed on the fact that they are Planetree certified despite the fact that it's not a benefit to the potential employee, and in this case, had absolutely nothing to do with the position I was interviewing for. I got the feeling that the people telling me about their Planetree status didn't really understand what it was, but knew that the CEO was proud of it and wanted it out there for good PR. I waited a month and when I still heard nothing, reached out to HR and received a reply that they had found another candidate to be better suited for the position. Yet, the job is still posted.
