I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Northwell Health (Lake Success, NY) in July 2022
Interview
The interview was really easy. They only asked me 3 questions and then talked about the job responsibilities the whole time. I thought I would for sure get the job, but I still haven't heard back from them. I interviewed 3 weeks ago... I sent a thank you AND a follow up email and still no answer. Is this typical for a big company? I'm annoyed it has taken them so long to get back to me; it seems like they are ghosting me.

Question 1
Tell us about yourself.
How do you prioritize tasks?
Are you squeamish at all?
First, there was a quick phone screening that asked if I was still interested in the position, eligible to work in the US, and other small things like that. Then there was an interview scheduled with two clinical research supervisors and they mainly asked behavioral/situational interview questions. They were very nice and it wasn't super stressful. The next interview was with the PI of the study and it was moreso just a conversation than an interview and it was a really nice experience overall. The entire process took about a month or so from phone screening to offer/rejection, but the time between the application and phone screening can take a couple of months in itself (but sometimes a couple of weeks, it really varies based on need it seems).
Only 2 interviews before they offered the job. Thus, quick turnover however the onboarding process took more than a month but the onboarder was very cooperative. They job offer was very detailed and there was room to negotiate salary.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Northwell Health (New York, NY) in Oct 2022
Interview
Contacted by a recruiter for a phone interview, then a follow-up virtual interview. One of my interviewers straight up said "this job is hard" which killed my excitement for the job.
