I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Denver, CO) in June 2014
Interview
Initial meeting followed by a lengthy online personality profile. This profile is heavily based on whether or not you have ever invested in financial services yourself, and how many people in the financial services industry you know. the second interview is to discuss your results and if you qualify you will meet with a higher up. you must be willing to gather 200-300 of your closest friends and family and be willing to sell the financial services.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They kept it very casual, asking simple questions about your goals and ability to go into sales and work on commission.
I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Greenville, SC)
Interview
Very casual, over the phone, expect to cold call even if they say you won't. Almost zero technical questions and seemed rather rushed. Probably wouldn't advise unless you have no other options.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (West Hartford, CT) in Nov 2024
Interview
First was a phone call interview. Then in person with the cheif recruiter. They had me come in for a third interview to meet two more representiatives and gave me assignements to start building my clients
I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Honolulu, HI)
Interview
The initial interview was fine. If you wish to proceed they'll give you an assignment that will take some time to prepare. If they offer you a position you'll find its mostly all networking through your personal connections for sales. Not ideal.
