Interview
I had a great conversation with the woman who interviewed me, but it was the longest phone interview I've ever had. It took over an hour, and I was surprised by the detail of the questions and how obscure they seemed, like "what was it like growing up in your town?" or "what are 3 things your parents raised you do to?" When she assigned me a project for the next round of interviews in which I'd have to contact 100 businesspeople and give the company their information, I started to feel uncomfortable. Reading reviews of the internship proved this feeling right, as I saw that the company uses the title "internship" to get college students to cough up contacts for them to haggle via phonecalls and otherwise. I declined.

What did your friends say when you told them you had this interview?
Straightforward process, interviewed with them on campus. They provided the information I needed. I decided to not move ahead with the interview process as it did not align with my goals, but the interviewers were cordial and professional.
Felt like they were selling me something the whole time. Super easy to talk to, but something just felt off the whole time. Had multiple phases of them explaining why they're so perfect and great to work for (massive selection bias in some of their numbers)
