Met a college recruiter representative at a college career services fair. Got an invitation to meet at the office and was asked about my history and got a pitch about how life insurance and their product line.

It was good, simple, and they provided a lot of information on what the position would look like. They explained the reasoning for commission-based pay, and how they help support new interns with that.
I had an interview with northwestern mutual but im seeing a lot of people say its just a pyramid scheme to cold call people in my network. is this true?
