I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at NovoDynamics (Ann Arbor, MI) in Sept 2023
Interview
30 minute introductory interview followed by coding challenge. Coding challenge was to program a simple CNN model to classify MNIST dataset. I was told that hiring was stopped and then saw the job reposted on LinkedIn the very next day.
The overall interview process was fairly standard: intro call, technical call, culture/behavioral type call. The technical interview included questions related to CV models (specifics on current architectures and layers), ML design, and how to properly handle various ML obstacles. There was no coding assignment at the time, but that could have changed.

Question 1
What are skipped connections and why are they useful?
I applied online. I interviewed at NovoDynamics (Ann Arbor, MI) in Oct 2020
Interview
After the person I was to speak with missed several calls, I finally had the opportunity to do a phone screen. It was rushed, disorganized, and more for an entry-level role than anything else. Next was a Zoom call. Again, the person I was supposed to talk with missed two calls. The Zoom call was a repeat in substance from the phone call. I felt missing meetings was very unprofessional, and, frankly, I should have not rescheduled after the second missed call. I have to assume the business is run as haphazardly as the interview process.

Question 1
Tell me about your background?
Why would you be a good fit?
Interviewing 101 for entry level jobs, nothing deeper, especially for an executive role
