I applied online. I interviewed at Nucleus Global (Far Hills, NJ) in Dec 2024
Interview
After an initial phone screen, I had a video interview scheduled with 4 individuals at Nucleus. The morning of the interview, the recruiter emailed me asking to switch the time of the call, which isn't exactly a sign of an organized company. Further, I acknowledge that video interviews will be a bit more casual than in-person, but one of the employees on the interview was wearing a backwards hat on camera...I wouldn't even do that on an ad-hoc internal meeting, let alone an interview. One of the four asked only one question, which she was clearly just reading off of her computer screen and awkwardly stumbled through the words. Even the person leading the interview seemed uninspired; it was as if they googled "what are the most banal questions to ask during a job interview" and just went with that. Very little discussion about what qualities they were looking for in a prospective candidate, and I'm honestly unsure if they asked a single question about me as a person. As someone with 7+ years of experience in this industry, I was quite disappointed. To top it all off, it took the recruiter almost a month to even follow-up with me after the call. I'd avoid this company unless you're desperate.
It was not a great process, and i found out shortly after I began working there that my boss was an incredibky difficult person to work for. He was the type of person that would encourage you to ask questions, but he would view it as being insubordinate, not doing my job properly.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Nucleus Global (Hamilton, NJ) in Mar 2021
Interview
Initially interviewed with 3-4 folks and then had to complete a written assignment. It was very straight forward and they asked very appropriate and pointed questions related to my past experience.
