Had a screener with an enthusiastic recruiter who said she thought I would be a great fit for the role. Than one on ones with two members from the account team that both went well. Final round interview where I did the Sam Adams case study, which I put at least a dozen hours into. Didn't hear anything for two weeks. Emailed the recruiter to ask for a status update. Was then told they decided to hire internally, but that they were still very interested and forecasted more openings for this type of position. A month later I saw an opening for a similar position and reached out to the recruiter, but received no response. Emailed her again to follow up, but still nothing. Just really frustrating to put so much time into a case study, not hear back, have them decide to fill the role internally, and then not even be professional enough to respond when I follow up for a similar role.
