I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at O'Reilly Auto Parts (Detroit, MI) in Feb 2012
Interview
Three sets of interviews with the direct supervisor and two senior level mangers. For current employees and day long ride along while visiting professional customers with at least two of the mangers. For outside hires, at least two sit down after hour interviews with a formal offering at the corporate office.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at O'Reilly Auto Parts (Dallas, TX) in Jan 2014
Interview
The interview was very informal and relaxing. I met with the Regional Manager, The District Manager, and the Regional Field Sales Manager. Full disclosure. is that I had a previous business relationship with two out of three of the Managers. So as much as it was truly an interview it was also a formal culture introduction to O'Reilly's. Honestly, networking with people and having a great personality will get you far in the business world.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The interview was pretty much cookie cutter in all reality. The job was laid out and how one gets from "A" to "B" in O'Reilly's.
