I found out about the position at an online job fair at ASU. I spent some time chatting via private message with one of their recruiters and had a positive experience. I couple weeks later I heard back from a software developer who wanted to schedule a phone interview.
The sound quality on the phone interview was really bad. It sounded like I was on speaker phone in a tunnel. There were two developers sitting in on the interview, but one barely spoke.
The sound was so bad that at times I couldn't tell they were telling me something or asking me a question. After talking for about 45 minutes, we went into the code challenge portion of the interview.
I was sent a live link to rextester.com, which is a tool that allows live pair coding. The coding challenge was not particularly difficult, but the two-on-one live pair coding made me very self conscious and nervous.
