I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at OYO in May 2017
Interview
Telephonic round and then a Face to face interview. The telephonic round will be great as some senior professional will take your interview. Face to face will be taken by a operations manager himself. Not that it is a bad thing, but usually what happens is that an inexperienced person with a set of rigid thought process and truckload of ego will take your interview. If you appear to be better than him, he will reject you.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They gave me situations from the issues they were facing like power cuts and no rooms for booked customers.
I applied online. I interviewed at OYO (New Delhi) in Dec 2021
Interview
It was a 45 minute two rounds with questions on professional journey and situation based cases. It was more on breaking down the problem rather than solving it. Further to this round was an HR fitment round to close the offer.
interviewed with 2 people in a open house event at the sheraton. both very friendly and gave lots of info about the role. the whole process took about an hour. did not hear back from them at all for 2 weeks
Interviewed for a leadership position. Felt that the people I interacted with were exceedingly cocky and a tad far removed from the us market and it dynamics as they were based in India. Allocated a certain amount of time for this position and in the end the recruiting team just ghosted me. That was a bad sign and a red flag.
