I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Odeon Cinemas (Manchester, England) in May 2018
Interview
Group interview, had to stand up and state a fact about yourself. Then in groups had to think of an advert to promote that cinema. Our group's idea was terrible. The group before us had a gay guy who did the splits... so how was anyone supposed to get over that? Dumb. After that, had a small interview that lasted no more than 5 minutes. Waste of time really.
The interview process felt very relaxed and informal, with plenty of time set aside at the end for questions and discussion. We met in a Costa next to the Odeon, which helped keep the atmosphere comfortable.
Presentation about working at Odeon. Group Interview was very fun. Then 1-1 interviews but it was more like 2-1. There was a cinema manager then a cinema host asking the questions and writing down notes. People who had full availability have a better chance of getting in than those who can’t work past 11pm

Question 1
How does having diverse set of colleagues help you in your work?
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Odeon Cinemas (Cardiff, Wales) in Oct 2025
Interview
the interview process was very relaxed, with a very nice manager.Felt like a nice conversation, even if I didn't get an offer, it was a good experience. A lot of back and forth. Some of the questions were a bit odd such as the favourite food question, but it felt like they wanted to know me more as a person to see if i would fit in their team.
