It was a rushed ordeal and everyone involved was at odds with one another, it was repetitive, and it seems there was poor planning involved. A meeting with Japanese colleagues that tell you that the job can be done with proper training, followed by an interview with a senior Logistics specialist who bombards you with minutia in order to discourage you.

The HR recruiter was extremely helpful and responsive, but the second stage was a joke. The hiring manager was low energy and lacked any form of enthusiasm or candor, with zero effort put into the interview questions, as though he didn't want to be there. The second panel was 30 minutes late, asked the same basic questions which only allowed me to repeat my introduction and barely go into details about my qualifications or skills. I was told someone would definitely contact me but I was ghosted, unsurprisingly. In one word, haphazard.
