I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Ojibwa Casino (Baraga, MI) in June 2016
Interview
Walked into a huge room with a podium in the middle of the room, and a large group of people sitting around a "U" at one end. The interview was open to the public, apparently, as there were several rows of chairs behind me with about 20 spectators. The spectators interrupted the interview several times with comments and questions, some seemingly pertaining to the interview, and some unrelated. The strangest interview I have ever participated in.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Very few questions pertaining to the actual job. One question that did was "Which three financial measures will you use to measure performance?".
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Ojibwa Casino (Marquette, MI) in Feb 2012
Interview
Three month process to get an interview as the background check and drug test took a long time to come back. This is the standard for all employees where they need to keep working another job if they are looking to work here. Sat down one to one with a Shift Manager and went through a list of questions as well as adding the value of a deck of cards up to show math proficiency.
