Interview
The interview process was mostly focused on previous work experience. There were multiple situation based questions around sales and distribution, which tested the approach to problem solving. There was a lot of focus on my ability to work in Africa and relocate and build a career outside India

I applied through LinkedIn. There was a 5-minute telephonic round followed by 2 rounds of Interview at the Gurgaon office. What they look for =
1. Preparedness to work in different countries including West Africa
2. Knowledge about International Trade, especially the risks - Financial and Operational risks
3. HR questions
4. MBA from a top B-School
What are the various risks in commodities trade business? (I had done one Trade live project during my MBA and they asked a lot of followup questions on this.)

Interview
The whole interview process was very structured and well coordinated. There were 4 rounds of Interview.
1. First 2 rounds were Telephonic HR rounds for candidate screening purpose.I was asked in brief about my current role. I was told about the Job description and willingness to move to Africa was discussed in detail. Each Interview lasted about 45 mins.
2. Last 2 rounds were VC with Senior Managers. Both the interviews lasted over an hour and were very exhaustive. I was asked about my current role in detail, achievements, quizzed on scenarios related to growth strategy, motivation to change job etc.
