I received an invitation to interview email which contained a template attachment. The template attachment hadn't even been completed, so it read DATE: XXX and NAME: XXX, JOB ROLE: XXX, which was really unprofessional. The template asked me to prepare a presentation for the interview (which was in 4 days' time). It read: 'Please prepare a 30 minute presentation on XXX' which was obviously really frustrating.
I emailed back asking if I had an attachment missing and asking what the presentation would be on. I received no response. I called three times, and either got 'she will call you back' or no answer. On the day of the interview, frustrated, I sent an email to the internal recruiter saying I hadn't been able to complete a presentation as I had no idea what the subject was, and could we re-arrange for another day so I could prepare and put my best foot forward. I got a response saying no, we couldn't rearrange. There was no apology, and I was responded to instantly so she had clearly read my previous emails and chosen to ignore them.
I pulled out of the process and I don't wish to work for such a rude and poor HR department, in which I myself would be working.
