      Automation Engineer Interview

      27 June 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Columbus, OH
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Olive (Columbus, OH) in Dec 2019

      Interview

I was given the bait and switch on multiple fronts with this shady company. I was contacted via LinkedIn by a recruiter working for Olive. They described the job as "AI Development" and asked me my desired salary. I said 85k minimum and they told me they would match that. 3 interviews later I learn not only that they had no intentions of paying me more than 60k, the job isn't even software development. It's writing test cases using a proprietary tool their actual devs built. I wasted my time being lied to by these money hungry people.

      Question 1

Basic stuff anyone over 18 can answer. It was a joke.
