Nice conversations were had.
Discussion about the position and how my skill sets works apply. The direct manager and human resources manager both were in the interview. Come prepared with questions.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at OmniSource (Commerce, CA) in June 2022
Interview
I was recruited by Zarla, who describe the position and went over my experience. I had an interview scheduled quickly, and went to their work site in Commerce, CA. I entered their corporate headquarters and nearly all the lights were turned off. It was eerie and unwelcoming. I introduced myself to the HR Manager who did not seem to want to engage with me. The CEO and COO argued with each other about who was supposed to be interviewing me before deciding that they both would. It didn’t seem like either were prepared for me to even be there, and were quite clearly pulling questions out of the air. They seemed incredibly out of touch with their own company culture, and completely aloof and resistant to modern innovations and technology that would bring them solutions instantaneously. I think the most disturbing aspect of the interview is the disrespect for my time and preparation. I would imagine this same attitude is the cause of their poor employee engagement. After the interview I contacted the recruiter and let them know what happened, who said she would follow up with feedback, and still haven’t heard from her after two weeks. I would only attend this interview for the experience of it, but can’t imagine working in an environment like this.

Question 1
Not sure any questions I can put here would be helpful as both the CEO and COO were scrambling to come up with questions, and constantly needed reminding of what position for which I was interviewing.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at OmniSource
Interview
Two interviews with people that work directly with whom ever would fill the open position. First interview was more intimidating than the second. Overall great interview experience and learned a lot from speaking with potential employer.
