I applied online. I interviewed at OnceHub (Cape Town) in Mar 2022
Interview
The recruitment process at OnceHub was professional and well structured. The HR department was very responsive throughout and made the experience seamless from start to finish.
Communication was clear and candidates were always kept informed. The assignment was well thought through and relevant, and it made complete sense to include it as part of the process. Although there was a time investment and various stages involved, including a panel interview, it was a wonderful way for both the candidate and the company to get a genuine sense of each other, working style, and culture fit. Well worth every minute.
The panel interview in particular added real value. It gave candidates exposure to different people across the organisation and created a more rounded picture of the team and culture. Exactly what a good recruitment process should do.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The interview opened with a conversational overview of your career to date, followed by questions around what attracted you to OnceHub and your motivation for considering a move. From there the process included behavioural questions that gave candidates a genuine opportunity to demonstrate how they think, lead, and navigate real situations.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at OnceHub (Noida) in July 2025
Interview
Interview process is very adequate and refined also they make sure to follow up after every round. I love the whole process as you get to see the complete management during the process.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at OnceHub in May 2025
Interview
OnceHub’s interview process was multi-stage — including initial conversations, a detailed take-home assignment, and multiple discussions with the CPO, a Senior PM, and the CEO.
What stood out was the company’s genuine interest in evaluating product thinking through real problems rather than textbook questions. The assignment was thoughtfully scoped and evaluated in a way that felt like a two-way fit rather than a one-sided test.
The only downside was that the process spanned a bit longer than expected, but overall, it was a highly rewarding and respectful experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked to walk through a product I had owned end to end from discovery to delivery to post-launch analysis. The focus was on how I made decisions, how I validated problems, and what outcomes the product delivered. The interviewers were genuinely interested in structured thinking and real-world impact.
In another round, I was asked to walk through how I would improve the UX of a real product screen they shared. It was a white boarding-style discussion where I had to critique the interface, propose improvements, and explain my decisions based on user needs and business goals.
