I applied online. I interviewed at One World Identity
Interview
Met with hiring person, then was supposed to meet some of the senior people. Was asked to write a one page note on a provided identity related topic... Third interview was cancelled less than an hour before it was supposed to start, never got to discuss my paper, all this for a junior analyst position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Situational questions about identity and technology. Questions were fairly challenging for the position level and a sub-par salary.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at One World Identity (Boston, MA) in Oct 2020
Interview
First round phone interview with the recruiter that took about thirty minutes. I applied online and heard back via email to schedule the interview about 1-2 weeks after I initially applied.
The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at One World Identity (New York, NY) in Apr 2019
Interview
This interview process consisted of 4 rounds (2 direct calls, an in-person and a conference call). The rounds themselves are consolidated into about three weeks. The team seems nice enough, but there are definitely a few red flags here.
I made my way through the rounds with great feedback. I was ghosted for the month following. When they finally came back, the CEO said they lost a client and had no work/money for that role... which is interesting because the team claimed to have a surplus of work in the pipeline. The CEO emailed again days after to offer me a different role with a compensation that was below the listed range for the initial role I applied. After asking to negotiate the salary, the CEO agreed to negotiate but gave me a run around about the duties of this role (did not match the offer letter) and how the compensation cap is much lower than what they have listed on their site and angellist. It was a game of “youre qualified enough to do the role but not enough to get paid for it,” another red flag as I make 30% more at a similar sized company, in a similar role. As I was looking to negotiate the salary, I followed up with number to start the conversation along with some clarifying questions. The CEO emailed back and rescinded my offer.
All in all, it was a pretty big waste of time. Do your homework outside of the OWI network as there is misrepresented info. and they don’t respect candidates’ time.
