I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at OnviSource in Sept 2023
Interview
First interview, via Zoom with a member of the executive team. Things I learned:
1. Health Insurance is not available to new employees until after 3 months
2. Health insurance is free for employees but spouses/children have high deductibles. Interviewer admitted it’s not a good plan.
3. 401k is not available to new employees until after 6 months
4. They do not use Slack because they don’t want employees creating channels that aren’t work related. Interviewers reaction to non work related chats was “get back to work”. Felt as if trying to get to know coworkers is frowned upon.
5. Interviewer pressed me to start my day at 6:30am even after I said I am not functional that early in the morning. I have a family and it felt as if that did not matter. Appears to be low work-life balance.
6. No PTO to start. It starts accruing on your first day.
Two additional interviews were required before an offer. Not a long process compared to a lot of other companies.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at OnviSource (Dallas, TX) in Apr 2013
Interview
Short and simple, I met with the Call Center Director and afterwards with HR via phone. Shortly after the interview I was contacted and offered a position the very next week.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at OnviSource in Sept 2014
Interview
The process did take a long time but I found every employee I interviewed with, invested and committed to finding the right team mate. I appreciate the professionalism I was shown at every interview.
