Was a very quick process because the client had an urgent need. My recruiter was friendly and helped make the process smooth and simple. Was hired within a week's time. My complaint is about something that bothers me quite a bit. When I was told the hourly rate, I was a bit shocked at how low it was compared to other jobs I had been interviewing for. I was desperate for this job, but I let the recruiter know I wasn't happy with the hourly rate. They came back to me saying 'the client' can't pay me any higher. The day I started my job, I saw on a paper how much the company is paying the agency--over 55% of what I'm paid! I was decieved and feel like an idiot for not pushing for more money. I am being ripped off. The average agency takes at most 35%. I can only hope I'll be hired directly by the client because I'm never working with this agency again.
