I made it to the second round but the hired an internal candidate. The salary range was surprising lower than I expected. In the application process they ask why do you want to work for OpenAI
The recruiter screening was easy to set up. I put time on the calendar for a 30 min call. It was a video call conversation with the opportunity to share my background and learn more about the role.
