Interview with the Recruiter, followed by interview with the Compliance Manager. Both interviews were smooth and engaging, and I appreciate the professionalism and friendliness of everyone I spoke with. However, the follow-up process was disappointing. After my interview with the manager I did not receive any further communication. I sent an email to the recruiter one week later to express my continued interest in the role. Two weeks after that, I sent another email (this time, noting that I understood it was possible either another candidate had been selected or that something that affected the position could have occurred) asking for any feedback that could help me in my ongoing job search. Unfortunately, I never received a response. While the interview experience was great, the lack of follow-up left me with a negative impression of the overall process.
