I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Opencare (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2025
Interview
The interview was a multi-step process with an initial HR screen, hiring manager interview to further go through the role competencies and a final case project that was to be presented to the hiring manager. I had gone through each of the steps and was told at the end of the process once I handed in my case that detailed a training strategy for their business that they we putting the role on pause.

Question 1
I was asked about past experiences that translated into the responsibilities of the new role.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience regarding our interview process and we truly appreciate the effort and thoughtfulness you invested during the process. We’re sorry to hear that your experience ended with the role being paused after you submitted your case project.
At Opencare, we strive to provide a transparent and respectful candidate experience. Occasionally, unforeseen business changes require us to pause or reevaluate open roles mid-process. We recognize how disappointing that must have been, and it was never our intent to diminish the value of your time.
