I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Opendoor (Plano, TX) in Mar 2021
Interview
There was a phone screening by an in-house recruiter, followed by a panel interview via zoom. Different levels of staff interviewed me for 30 minutes a piece for a total of 2 hours. It was very pleasant and personable. No offer was made, and ultimately I took a much more lucrative position with a competitor.
Thank you so much for leaving us a review. We’re glad to hear that you had a positive experience with our team and while it may not have resulted in an offer, we’re happy to hear that you landed another great opportunity.

There were multiple rounds of virtual interviews with various managers and team members across the country. That was after talking with the recruiter a couple of times. The overall process took a couple of weeks.

Question 1
How do you manage a vendor who is falling behind schedule or is over budget?
Had an initial phone interview with the recruiter. She let me know when the call started that they had actually just filled the position, but figured we could still get on a call to get familiar with each other.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Opendoor (San Antonio, TX) in June 2021
Interview
The interview process was comprised of three parts - recruiter (15 minutes), hiring manager (30 minutes), and four-member panel video interviews (30 minutes each) with three Market Managers and a General Manager. The interview process took about a week in total to complete but I received an offer within 24 hours of my last interview.

Question 1
The interview was focused application of management and knowledge of construction. Be prepared to answer questions about successes and failures and strengths and weaknesses. My advice, do not talk in generalities, give examples, and be sure to ask questions when given the opportunity.
