I applied through other source. I interviewed at OpinionLab (New York, NY)
Interview
I was unsure during the phone interview, because I could tell I was on speaker phone with the HR person. The HR person never told me I was on speaker phone. This person seemed cold, distant and working through a list of questions. Maybe someone else was listening too and that was why I was on speaker. Company does not have a remote work policy. So I let them know I was not a good fit for the position any longer and ended the interview. The person I spoke with left a bad taste in my mouth too.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at OpinionLab (Chicago, IL) in June 2016
Interview
Phone screen, which was fine.
Chat with operations team and developers, which was fine. Very laid back staff and atmosphere.
However, the hiring manager spent far too much time berating me over what I didn't know instead of being interested in what I could actually bring to the table.
After that experience, probably would not apply here again nor recommend this place to anyone else.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at OpinionLab (Chicago, IL) in Sept 2015
Interview
After one phone interview, I was asked to come in for an on-site interview. I was given two tests, one was written and the other was a game where I had to find all the defects while 2 team members observed my progress. After 3 hours of interviewing with 6 various, paired team members, I was told that they would hold a meeting the next day and get back to the recruiter, but they never did. The whole process felt very unprofessional.
