Optiv OCISO interview questions

The interview process was coordinated by a friendly and helpful recruiter, who was available seemingly around the clock and weekends in the event I had questions or concerns. The process consisted of a series of 1-1 or group conversations with a fairly broad range of Optiv employees, including senior leadership. The process included a HireVue session early in the process as well, which covered many of the standard interview questions, but also explored my thinking and approach to cyber-security. This was my first experience with HireVue, and I thought the choice of questions and timing in the process made for an effective use of the tool. I was coming to Optiv from a CISO position that required very little travel. Some travel is required in the current role, and I was rather concerned about the potential impact on my availability to my family. I was pleasantly surprised at how patient the recruiter and hiring manager were to address these concerns. I felt the interview process allowed me to both fully outline my background and experience as well as learn a great deal about the company and people I would be joining.
